Three Peaks will require you connect and setup the link between XERO and Three Peaks Portal.

Connect Linking to XERO

By connecting to Three Peaks portal, you allow Three Peaks to access to transact in your XERO Accounting system. Transactions are limited to the accounts you select in the next step.

    Navigate to the XERO Section by clicking on the XERO tab on the menu.

    Click on the Button “Connect Three Peaks Gateway” and follow the instructions on the next screen.

    Three Peaks Integration needs your permission to access parts of your XERO Account, note the areas that we request access.
    Select your company that you want Three Peaks Facility to connect with. (Applicable only for multiple company users) Click on Allow Access to Proceed or Cancel to stop the process.

Accounts Map Accounts

Three Peaks Portal requires that you link (map) each area of interaction to your XERO Accounting platform i.e. virtual bank, suspense account, contact group and contact that Three Peaks Portal is permitted to use for the interaction between your XERO Accounting platform and Three Peaks Portal.

Your Reference Use your reference provided by Three Peaks
Bank Account Three Peaks will list all your accounts that are available on your XERO platform, and here you can select the bank your created before.
Suspense Account A list of all your accounts will be available for selection, click on the dropdown box and select the suspense account you created before.
Bank Charges Account A list of all your accounts will be available for selection, click on the dropdown box and select the bank charges account.
Contact Group A list of all your contact groups will be available for selection, click on the dropdown box and select the contact group that you created before.
Contact A list of all your contacts will be available for selections, click on the dropdown box and select the contact that you created before.

Customers

To be able to collect money from your customers, you will need to import the customers into our platform. Any new customers created will also require you to import them

Debit Order Mandates Authorisations

Three Peaks require that all customers have a mandate before processing collection via debit orders. Three Peaks require the information of the mandate (Bank Account Information, Mandate Reference, Collection date).

Debit Order Mandate (authorisation) setup

Compliance requires that each customer have a valid mandate for debit order processing.

Three Peaks Portal requires the information on the mandate for processing of a collection that you are authorised by your customer to collect money by debit order.

Bank Account Information

A customer will provide you their banking information that they nominated for debit order collections.

Mandate Reference

Each customer’s mandate must contain a unique reference, example REF0002345

This will allow for identification and tracking. Three Peaks also provide you the ability to use the invoice number as the reference (as per mandate).

Collection Date (Action Date)
A customer will authorise you collect money from their bank account on a date specified on the mandate, or you can nominate the collection date as per invoice due date (as per mandate). The Highlighted “Orange” customer data is not completed and will require your attention.

Maintain Mandate (debit order authorization)

Customers highlighted in “Orange” does require your attention as the mandate setup is not complete.

Search for the customer that you would like to alter the mandate information for and then click on the customer. Complete the mandate form and save.

Complete the form with the information on the mandate.

Status Active or Disabled
Name The Account holder's name (Owner of the bank account)
Bank Bank where account is located
Bank Account Type The type of account (Auto by default)
Action Date The date where the value is to be deducted from your customer's bank account by debit order.
Account Number Your customer's nominated bank account number.
Branch Code The Bank's branch code
Debtor Reference TThe unique reference used to identify your customer as per mandate.
